Founded in 1978 by Don Newberry, Newberry & Associates has experienced dramatic growth from its home office at 407 S. Cliff Drive in Gallup. The firm has decades of professional experience working with thriving businesses such as grocery stores, construction companies, car dealerships, banks and national parks. Clients can choose from a variety of services that include tax planning and preparation, estate planning, audits, reviews and compilations, bookkeeping, financial planning, computer consulting and business performance consulting, also known as performance measurement.
In 2004, we took our firm to the next level and began providing profitability consulting services to our clients. Clients are assigned a profitability consultant who will work side by side with them to create processes that will efficiently and effectively run their business. We want our clients to run their business instead of the business running them.
Don Newberry began practicing in 1956 and opened the Gallup office in 1978. His partner (and son) Brett Newberry joined the firm in 1981. The shareholders have more than 60 years of experience among them. There are a total of eight employees, both homegrown and transplanted staff.
